Christmas Day 2010 is finally here and after a very long night of driving and getting home at 3:30am we actually convinced the kids to sleep for a few more hours before we opened up presents. (I think it was really Dan and I that really needed the sleep) So we all got up about 8:00 am and Taylor was the first awake so we told her that she needed to wait for her brother and sister to wake up...well Alex soon followed by a few minutes and Taylor tells him that we need to wait for Brianne so needless to say he went and woke her up. Too funny!!
As you can plainly see they are very very excited!! and can hardly wait to see what Santa has brought for them.
Brianne opening her pillow pet that Santa got her she was so very excited I think she loved it!! She still says that is her favorite present! It's always good to know that Santa got it right!
Alex was a crack up next as he opened up his present from Santa he decided that he needed to close his eyes which is funny since the gift is wrapped anyway. I was totally laughing it was funny!!
Taylor was funny hers was the biggest in size and she had a fun time opening it even though it was upside down! She has been asking for this desk for a while! She was also very excited about what Santa got her!!
Even Daddy got into it Taylor found him the perfect gift of saved by the bell seasons 1 and 2, the kids love to watch it with him!
I was having a great time getting gifts from the kids they are so cute, I love all the thought that they put into their gifts for us this year! They are really cute! After a great morning at home we headed over to Nana's and little Papa's to have Christmas with them and Kim, April and Cameron. So much fun the kids had a blast opening more presents and had even more fun playing with them afterwards!
I love to see the happy smiles on their faces when they get really excited with the things that they got. With all the fun and the presents its still good to always remember the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! We are so blessed to live in a time and country that allows us to have religious freedom! It is a great thing to remember what the season is all about and good to know that we can help others who might be in need of some kind of service. Lets all try to remember what its all about! What a great year so far!
