Spelling Bee here we come again!!!

So if you can all remember to last year about this time, (well actually about 3 weeks ago) it was time for the Spelling Bee and Taylor won the school spelling bee and went onto the county bee. Well here we are again this year and yes she did it again!!! I know she is a great speller. She won her school bee again and she was off to the county bee, all we asked her to do was study a bit more and we really wanted her to get further than she did last year. We were just looking for improvement. Well she sure did improve! This year she came in tied for 5th place, she was quite happy with herself as well! Dan did record her with his phone so we have those clips as well I will have to have him download them so I can post one or two.

After it was over they handed out certificates for all the participants as well as a goodie bag full of things. She was quite happy she won a raffle for 2 tickets to the aquarium, she also got 4 tickets to the Rodeo and 2 tickets to the Air show, as well as other little prizes. It was a fun year and she actually still has a chance to do it again next year since you can win in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. So we will have to wait and see.
