The 4th of July

The 4th of July is a wonderful time to celebrate our great country and realize all of the freedoms that we have!!! We also have a lot of fun celebrating my mom's birthday. After a great day at church we headed home for a wonderful dinner and some cake! yum who doesn't like cake!! Then it was pain staking till it got dark for the kids to go outside and have some holiday fun. we started off with some sparklers and it was a lot of fun our neighbors came across the street to have some sparkler fun as well with their little girl. The kids totally enjoyed the sparklers. we had lots of fun.

Then it was time to sit back with a blanket and watch my dad, Dan and Alex do the fireworks for us it was great. It reminded me of when I was a girl growing up and we would all sit out our chairs in my grandmothers back yard and enjoy the show. It was always great fun. Its good to make memories and remember the old ones as well.
